16''x20'' acrylic on canvas board. Portrait of Miranda, one of my roommates. I tried something totally different for my style, which was not blending (in the figure anyways.) Experimenting is always good.
11.5''x7'' acrylic on raw canvas drop cloth. Painting from real life and comparing it to a photo. Consensus: Painting from life wins by far. Tiny painting of part of my basement in Philly. It was a quick little painting, kind of scratchy.

Today I get new oil paints, it's like Christmas all over again!
