These are some pictures from my cold construction midterm. The full display photos will be up soon. The idea was working with multiples and glass molds and making them into a hybrid. I played on the lock and chain idea and the weight of secrets working with a sculptural jewelry piece. I flame worked each chain link, and each loop attached to the lock molds, sand blasted the locks and connected everything all together. I'm pretty satisfied with these pictures, and it feels really great to have finally completed this project.
I still have a lot of stuff to figure out for going to Rome. I feel like it's going to creep up on me faster than I think, but I'm still really excited.
In other news I'm being a hamster for halloween.
