Candy Dish

I made a candy dish for my Mom, it was the first cup I made this year, so I was a little rusty.
This weekend my family took me out for my birthday to Simon Pearce, a restaurant in West Chester with a glass studio in it. It was a really great time being with my family and the restaurant was awesome.

I'm really excited about my ceramics project. We have to do a self portrait of a part of our body and engrave or sculpt a pattern onto it. I spent about four or five hours tonight after class working on the pattern and I'm still not even close to being done. This semester is intense but I'm really excited about all of my first projects.
