Paintings for Donna: The Final.

Detail

Our final was to do two paintings, one that was the biggest painting you've ever done, and the other could be a smaller study. I gave my study to my sister so I don't have any pictures of it but this painting is 6'x3' acrylic on canvas drop cloth using liquid flow release, soft gel medium and raw canvas on all different parts of the painting.

Most fun/ care free final of all time, because there were no guidelines to it, only the size.
Finished the semester with a critique of all of my paintings (not all of them are up here.) Donna said she enjoyed my study constructs over my abstract pieces because they were strange and not studies at all. (Strange was a compliment when Donna said it.)

I loved this painting class and all that I learned from Donna will definitely stay with me in the future. For anyone at Tyler, I recommend taking her class, even if it is acrylic as opposed to oils.
